Coming to you from the beautiful city of Calgary at Co-Host Dr. Jonathan Leicht’s newly up-and-running Bridgeland Veterinary Clinic!

Recorded in fitting fashion from one of the Clinic’s examination rooms, Jonathan and Michael chat face-to-face about Jonathan’s top 5 tips – and lessons learned – for opening a new veterinary clinic.

They are as follows:

  1. Location, location, location!
  2. Build a plan for construction (you can’t wing something like this)
  3. Team – start with the end in the mind
  4. Have a solid business plan that includes contingencies
  5. Create quality relationships

In addition to his tips, Jonathan shares some things he would do differently in the future based on his experience building out Bridgeland.

Congratulations to Dr. Leicht and the entire team at Bridgeland on the opening of the new clinic!
