This Wednesday we are joined by Dr. Helen Newton!

Helen is a 2008 WCVM, Saskatoon graduate. Her story is fantastic and will be sure to resonate with many listeners this week!

Helen started out in practice in Southeast Texas working in a busy mixed animal practice before traveling the world, finding love and eventually coming back to Canada where she now works as the Western Canadian Veterinary Communication Manager with the Nestle Purina PetCare group.

In this episode, we discuss:

  1. Seeking opportunities by being uncomfortable
  2. World travel
  3. The Veterinary Nutrition Industry
  4. How to setup yourself up for positions outside of associate DVM roles
